SHAMGAR WHO ARE YOU?

Shamgar might be called "The One Verse Wonder" because his entire story is told in just one verse.

He appears out of nowhere to deliver Israel from the Philistines, and get this, he is not an Israelite. To understand what God is saying, we need to ask, who is this guy?

We have three major clues in this one verse: his name, his enemy, and that his weapon was not a sword; it was an oxgoad.
