Cult of Personality

In a world of comparison, we can get caught up in comparing ourselves to who we follow and believe we have some type of superiority, a “Smarty Pants” mentality” over them (i.e. if you don’t like the president then you are stupid and I am smarter than you). We elevate people to levels they can never live up to, instead, we should realize that it is the message of the Gospel. When we remember the power of that message, and how God chooses fools to share it, then we remember everyone is on the same playing field.
