Distractions

All too often we believe if we know God’s call for us, then life will be easier. However, that is not always true. The Israelites clearly knew their responsibility was to rebuild the temple, and yet they still had distractions.

The Israelites had constant distractions by the people around them, and they did it over a long period of time, and those who were distracting them finally were able to derail their call.

But God graciously sent the prophets Haggai and Zechariah to preach and encourage them to get back up and get on mission.
