This Sunday January11th the Message : SHADOW WARS
This Sunday, my message is called SHADOW WARS – Winning the war on anxiety.
I call it SHADOW WARS because the war on anxiety is often unseen by others, but is an ever-constant struggle for those who are experiencing it.
The premise of our present sermon series, HOPE RISING, is that Satan will often use anger, anxiety, jealousy, and fear as pathways into our lives, but the hope of Christ can rise up and shut these doors down, giving the enemy no place to hide.
This Sunday, as we talk about the pathway of anxiety, I think it may be the most insidious of the four pathways because it is hard to talk about and elusive as to its cause. You just can’t put your finger on why you feel the way you do; you know it’s a lie, but it feels so real. Sometimes, so real you’re not sure you will survive.
But there is a kind of hope that is able to push anxiety back and replace it with an otherworldly hope that goes beyond our understanding.
That is what I want to talk to you about this Sunday. It is time to be free. I hope to see you there.
