This Sunday Mother's Day: The 5th Commandment

Worship with First Church of God in LaGrange Indiana this Sunday at 9:00am or 10:30am.
The message is titled, The 5th Commandment. This is commandment has a promise attached to it. Honoring mother and father includes the promise of living "long in the land God has given to you".
What does this mean? And how does it apply to us today?
This is a Mother's Day message, but it is also an admonition for fathers, children, and society in general to recognize the great blessing that comes from honoring those who have loved, protected, trained and provided for us when we were children.
It is also a call to pray for our parents who are doing the important work of building families, and a call to pray for our children who are growing up in one of the most confusing times in American history.
Building the future takes us all, lets talk about this Sunday.
Invite someone to come with you this Sunday, it will change their life. - Pastor Rich

Join the 555 Club
The 555 Club is a daily discipleship and accountability program.
5 minutes reading the assigned chapter in the Bible, 5 minutes thinking about how the chapter applies to our lives, and 5 minutes praying about what we have read. Then get on the 555 Club group on the church app and type, "I have spent time with God today". This serves as accountability to the whole group and will motivate you to be consistent and spend time with God every day.
