Sunday January18th the Message : SLAYING THE GREEN-EYED MONSTER

The message Sunday is called SLAYING THE GREEN-EYED MONSTER – Exposing the demonic pathway of jealousy.
Jealousy, envy, coveting: these describe a human emotion that finds its way into almost all the tragic stories of history. It is fascinating to discover that the first sin included jealousy. Satan wanted to raise his throne above the throne of God. He wanted to be God. Then Eve in the Garden wanted to be like God, knowing good and evil, and making her own determination of what she thought was good and evil, thinking that God was keeping something from her. In a very real sense, Satan had placed in her mind to raise her throne above God’s throne. Even the first murder happened when Cain became insanely jealous of his brother Abel.
The premise of our present sermon series, HOPE RISING, is that Satan will often use anger, anxiety, jealousy, and fear as pathways into our lives, but the hope of Christ can rise up and shut these doors down, giving the enemy no place to hide.
This Sunday, as we talk about the pathway of jealousy. Jealousy and envy are often overlooked or not taken seriously, when in fact they are some of Satan’s greatest and most used weapons.
This Sunday, we learn a key truth for shutting down the pathway of Jealousy. I hope to see you there.

Will the Real Blind Man Please Stand Up
October 14th, 2025
In the Gospel of John Chapter 9 Jesus heals a blind man, which starts a series of events that leads once again to a conflict with the Jewish leaders.
Jesus healed this man on the Sabbath, and this will cause the Pharisees to bristle because they will see this as a violation of the commandment to do not work on the Sabbath.
